About Scubbl

Scubbl is an application dedicated to scuba diving, designed to help divers discover, prepare, log, and share their experiences.

The idea came from a simple observation: useful information for divers is often scattered, incomplete, or hard to find again. Dive sites, marine species, experience reports, activity logs, clubs, local conditions, practical advice… every diver builds their own points of reference over time.

Scubbl was created to bring these elements together in a modern, community-driven application designed for real field use.

Our vision

Diving is an activity of exploration, preparation, and sharing.

Every immersion depends on a place, weather, level, equipment, team, wildlife, past experience, and sometimes very local information.

Our ambition is to progressively build a reliable, useful, and living space for divers: a tool that helps people discover sites better, understand the marine environment better, keep better records of their dives, and share better with the community.

What Scubbl enables

Scubbl notably makes it possible to:

  • discover dive sites;
  • explore marine species;
  • record activities in a dive logbook;
  • share photos, observations, and experiences;
  • consult useful information before an immersion;
  • follow community activity;
  • contribute to improving the available data;
  • discover dive clubs, centers, and professionals.

The application is designed to support recreational divers, more experienced enthusiasts, clubs, and professionals in the sector alike.

A community application

Scubbl is based on a simple belief: divers, clubs, and enthusiasts often know the field better than any isolated database.

The observations, corrections, experience reports, and contributions from the community gradually improve the quality of the information available.

This community approach is supervised to preserve service quality. Inaccurate, inappropriate content, or content that goes against the application rules may be moderated, corrected, or removed.

Useful data, enriched together

The information available in Scubbl may come from public sources, technical processing, community contributions, or internal editorial work.

The goal is to provide useful, consistent data that is regularly improved. As with any community-based and evolving tool, some information may nevertheless be incomplete, imprecise, or require an update.

Users can help improve Scubbl by reporting an error, suggesting a correction, or sharing feedback from the application.

More responsible diving

Scubbl encourages responsible diving practices.

Discovering a site, observing a species, or sharing a photo should never come at the expense of living things. The application values respect for species, marine habitats, local regulations, and good environmental practices.

Diving is a privileged way to observe the underwater world. It also comes with a responsibility: preserving what we come to discover.

Preserve what we come to discover.

For clubs and professionals

Scubbl is also intended for dive clubs, dive centers, instructors, and professionals in the sector.

The goal is to offer them a space to present their activity, improve their visibility, share their information, and strengthen their relationship with divers.

Scubbl wants to build a bridge between divers, local structures, and diving territories.

An evolving project

Scubbl is a continuously developing project.

The application evolves thanks to user feedback, community contributions, and the needs expressed by divers and professionals.

Our priority is to build a clear, useful, reliable, and pleasant service without losing sight of the essentials: the passion for diving, sharing experiences, and respecting the ocean.
